Data Entry Executive (Omani Nationals Only)

Full Job Description

Job description: Composed individual with strong teamwork capabilities to provide an effective and high quality level of service relating to collecting and entering customer data in government databases for processing various types of application, such as licenses, renewals, visas, work permits, etc.

Our ideal candidate will have essential data entry skills, including fast typing, keen attention to detail, and familiarity with official forms. The position will also require P.R.O related skills. Familiarity with government procedures is also desirable.

Task Requirements:

Welcome guests andcustomers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering ordirecting inquiries;

Assist customers with all general inquiriesconcerning government procedures and relations.
Arrange and process various requiredpermissions, applications, and obtain approvals with the relevant authorities, including, but not limited to;

  • Residency/work permit
  • Licenses and permits
  • Visa applications and other immigration related matters
  • Processing and registration of tenancy agreements
  • Payment of fees and fines

Role requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Insert customer data by inputting text-basedinformation from source documents (such as CR,
  • Identity Cards, and Passports)efficiently and within allocated times.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sortinformation according to requirements to prepare data for entry.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors,correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
  • Research and obtain further information forcustomer processing needs.
  • Respond to queries for information and produce relevant files/applications.
  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or online government or other database systems as required for customer applications.
  • Type in data provided directly from customers.
  • Retrieve data from various government databases or electronic files as required to process customer requests.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure datapreservation.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From RO325.000 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Muscat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
