Microsoft Sales Executive

The Team

Inviso’s Microsoft Account Executive (AE) for SMC-Corporate (SMC-C) provides role excellence through impactful customer centricity, managing Microsoft’s managed customers. The key success is in its ability to drive customer partner experience leveraging Microsoft Programs resulting in satisfied customers. SMC-C team in Microsoft is at the forefront to better help customers be successful on their digital transformation journey through prioritized sales plays, and programs while scaling through partners.

The Role

Successful candidate is to manage and engage customers through account planning, drive customer engagements through data driven and trusting approach. The successful candidate will also be with strong capabilities to establish internal collaboration, ensure customer engagements through various solution areas, close engagement with stakeholders and Partners for best customer engagement experience.

Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful AE for SMC-C manages customers with impact through their ability to close opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Business Relationship Owner: Build coalition of support with various level of customer stakeholders.
  • Engage customers through inspiring and empowering them to develop pipeline on Microsoft solution utilizing Microsoft Programs best for customer.
  • Develop and manage all phases of the sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, consultative selling and closing new business.
  • Work proactively and independently in developing relationships, driving value conversations through knowledge of Microsoft solutions.
  • Develop strategic accounts and execute sales strategies with defined sales plays.
  • Collaborate with Partners to ensure a good engagement experience with customers.

Candidates in will sharpen critical career skills from the experience working within the team and in collaboration with the broader Microsoft SMC-C team. Candidates will also benefit from the broad network of Microsoft’s lines of business and client relationships across the various business groups and team.

Experience Required

  • Degree in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative selling Microsoft Cloud or related services
  • Prior consulting, account management, or sales experience specifically relating to Microsoft Business Solutions
  • Strong and established market knowledge within the local country
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to navigate difficult conversations and drive effective solutions to business problems with knowledge of pricing tactics and strategies
  • Proven experience in closing business for business applications/technology sales as an Account Executive or Sales Representative
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and to work with a team
  • Ability to travel 30% or more
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English and local language requirements
  • Ability to work with management at every level
  • Problem solving abilities that adapt to variety of situations
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio. Strong Excel capabilities is essential.

Additional Qualities That Would Be Helpful:

  • Managed large quota and has experience in managing cross industry accounts
  • Solid knowledge of one industry required (i.e. Government, Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Automotive, Telco, Media, Oil/Gas/Energy, etc.)
  • 2+ years experience in supporting customer in driving Digital Transformation
  • Self-direction and a focus on quality, with the ability to apply independent judgment to accomplish objectives
