Introduction
Mining Superintendent/Quarry Superintendent needed in De Hoek, Western Cape
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Geology (NQF Level 7)
- National Certificate Rock Breaking (NQF Level 3) or Blasting Certificate for Open Cast Mines from the DMRE
- Valid Driver’s license (Code B minimum with no endorsements)
- Knowledge about the Mine Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation
- Action-orientated with a personal drive to excel in a production setting and be able to work under pressure
- Be able to work alone and in a team
- Must conform to company policy and wear protective clothing
- Must follow the set procedures and work instructions
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be in a good state of physical health
- Must have good interpersonal skills
