Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment in the factory
- Inspect all equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met
- Identify and resolve any electrical, hydraulic and or mechanical faults in machinery
- Assemble, move, set up and dismantle tools and machinery
- Monitor equipment inventory and direct order placements to the Storeman
- Keep logs and reports on daily activities
- Monitor and assess hazardous and unsafe situations on-site
- Report any accidents or incidents to the Maintenance Manager
- Follow good safety practices and encourage safe working practices at all time
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Qualified artisan with completed trade test and/or
- 3 – 5 years of Millwright experience
- Based in Middelburg Mpumalanga
- Experience in Manufacturing environment will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently
- Needs to have a mechanical aptitude
- Be willing to work on standby
