Human Resources Administrator

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing an efficient Human Resources administrative service in respect of related policies and procedures
  • Providing input and assistance into various monthly HR reports for statistical and management purposes;
  • Recruitment and selection administration – compile advertisements & questionnaires response handling, employment contracting
  • Accurate record keeping relating to Training & Development, Recruitment, Employment Equity & IR activities
  • Providing advisory and operational support to line management
  • Providing support to the HR Management Team
  • Creating and maintaining HR files for audit readiness

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of a 3 year National Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent
  •  A minimum of 3 years HR administration experience
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office
  • Up to date knowledge of current HR legislation;
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong administrative, accurate record keeping, and time management skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure and be deadline driven
  • Be self-motivated and have an energetic approach towards work
  • Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
  • Converse fluently in both English and a second official language
  • Be prepared to work overtime when necessary;
  • Be in possession of a valid Drivers license & reliable transport
