Junior Process Engineer – Chemical Engineering
Duties & Responsibilities
- General administration in the office
- Assist with responses to client enquiries and assess requirements
- Doing test work
- Development of process flow sheets and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
- Assist with overseeing the process of commissioning as part of the process team
- Advise in terms of process improvement
- Establish relationship with customers
- Process and mechanical design for the required equipment
- Costing of equipment and prepare bid or tender for client
- Follow up on submissions and resolve any queries or changes to requirements
- Process orders
- Liaise with production
- Commissioning on installations to ensure satisfaction
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Solid understanding of flow sheets and instrumentation diagrams
- Solid understanding of metallurgical processes
- Solid understanding of process engineering
- Solid understanding of project management and execution
- B.Eng (Chemical Engineering)
- Covid Vaccination – ESSENTIAL
